When I See Her Again

When I see her again

Maybe I will tell her

What I saw when I

Looked into her eyes

The first time,

Perhaps I’ll explain

What I felt when

She touched me

The first time,

But then again

She probably would

Have little interest in

Such observations

So I will keep them

To myself,

Perhaps in their captivity

They will generate

 Line after line,

Poem after poem.
