White Skirts And Parasols

Through the misting rain

And gusting winds

White skirts and parasols

Buttoned shoes

Mingle on and around

The wicker chairs

And marble tables,

Is another time,

Another dimension

That close,

Are these the ones

Who have never

Made love,

Locked wishing

And hoping

In an eternal

Afternoon garden

Party.
