Pigskin And Pumpkins

So once again

It’s pigskin and pumpkins,

Trees unfurling dead leaves

With their dying colors,

Grown men grunting

Over oval shaped balls,

Children giggling

With glee and a bit of fear

Over the eyes and scary faces

They’ve cut into pumpkins,

Women up to their

Elbows in turkey asses,

Contemplating what’s inside

The tight pants of men

Grunting over pigskin.
