Wyndspree

I wondered where

She’d been,

Who she’d seen,

Who had played

Inside her,

Her gorgeous looks,

Sweet sexy lines,

Easy to be in love

With Wyndspree.

Tables And Chairs

Of course the question

How ?

Sits unspoken

In many minds,

With all of the political

Babble about awareness,

How ?

Does the Wizard Of Oz

Keep slipping into

Your thoughts,

Politicians and leaders,

Some so eager to send

Our children into war,

Hiding behind locked doors

Barricaded with tables and chairs.

Blues Tune

The disturbing thoughts

From the study of

Psychopathy,

Become a blues tune

In the mind,

Unwinding from

The dots to dots,

The journey

You started blind,

Did it begin with

Cain and Abel,

Or long, long before,

Where’s the gene pool

Headed,

What misery lies in store.

Wind

In the shelter

Of the backyard

With the trees

It’s the music of

Brahms, Chopin, Schubert,

The Beatles, I Want To Hold

Your Hand,

Dockside it’s

Beethoven, Tchaikovsky,

Heavy metal rock, Ozzy,

Crazy Train,

In the empty

Downtown streets

It’s the howling, the

Eerie, squeaky sign sounds

Of Halloween.
