Off Of My Mind

I’m not sure

If it’s because of Venus

Hanging from the crescent moon,

The haunting piano,

The sentimental sax,

But it’s one of

Those long days

  I can’t get you off

Of my mind,

Perhaps it’s the

Consequence,

The price of love itself,

Maybe we were lovers

Back in the days when

The music was live,

I can hear you say

That was then but this is now

And still somehow

I can’t get you

Off of my mind.
