Clicking

All you could hear

Was the clicking

Of the mouse,

With the sound

Turned down

In that quiet

Old house,

And you wondered where

The fingers were going,

What the eyes could see,

What the mind was thinking,

When all you could hear

Was the clicking

Of the mouse.
