Dots

I loved you then

And I love you now

There is no reason

Or answer how,

The universe seems

To connect the dots
Sometimes it’s wonderful

Sometimes it’s not.

Evolution

Marching behind the banners

Of Equity, Inclusion,

Systemic Racism,

Climate Change,

Disband The Police,

The politically correct

Bleeding hearts

Don’t realize

What intolerant,

Hypocritical,

Bigoted, Racists,

They have become.

Shadow

Did the world go broke

In the fall of nineteen,

The top twits’ response

Was more than obscene,,

The Wuhan Waltz

Is a dangerous dance,

Countries locked down

Afraid in a trance,

Who would have thought

Such a high tech race,

Would be afraid of a shadow

Cringe in its face.

Malcontents

Never admitting,

Never acknowledging

Their own ineptitude,

Their lack of character,

Energy, passion, drive,

They look for someone,

They look for something

To blame for what they

Perceive as lousy lives,

Never realizing,

Never understanding

That the development and

Unfolding of the precious gift

Of life is the responsibility

Of the soul within the skin.

Goat And Scales

They emerged from the sixties

Free spirits not hippies

Against all advice

Got married on tips,

They rolled through the prairies

And the northern mines

Over the mountains

To where the Pacific shines,

There were ups and downs

Sometimes a bad fall

But over fifty years later

Their love stands tall.
